Google getting ready the Chrome Web Store. So developers can get ready for when it launches latter this year. Isn’t this a little like Microsoft’s open call to Developers. Is Google really just looking to see how many people / items to sale in it’s store?
This is great. Finally a magazine that is not double dipping for money. People Magazine to let subscribers use it’s iPad App for free. I wonder exactly how they are going to carry it off. Will it be like this: You subscribe to the paper one, then when you download the app and when you install it will ask for your name/address/phone or some other identifier and then activate? I wonder what Apple thinks of this, since if they have a free App but people still pay for it does Apple get a cut still?
Google collects and displays information that people think should be hidden. The article is about Google Map photos of people back yard where the a local government is using that to see if people got their permits for any pools that may be there. The one question that I have is how updated the maps they can see vs. the free maps that Google shows everyone. since I had a tree cut down over a year a go and it’s still showing on the maps.
It’s to funny, if you want to try to jailbreak go an Apple Store and try it on one of their devices. Apple has stopped people by blocking jailbreakme.com but all you have to do is see if other wi-fi hot spots are around and use them, or bring your own. While I don’t approve of anyone doing this, since it’s not your device , it is funny that someone came up with the idea. I guess Apple will have to watch everyone like a hawk, since it takes about an hour to re-set the phones back to normal.
This is great. Flash on iPhone I wonder what Steve Jobs is thinking about it. while you need a jail broken iPhone, iPad in eight steps you could be watching basic flash animations. To do this the install looks long and some what complicated, but if you went though the trouble of jail breaking your phone then you shouldn’t have an issue with it. Since it’s v 0.2 of Frash as the creator is calling it I’m sure if Adobe and Apple don’t come to an agreement that this guy will update his stuff to be easier and more full featured.
Apparently all browsers have an issue that if you use the private feature so no one can track your usage doesn’t really work. It’s all in the cookies. This affects according to the article Apple’s Safari, Google’s Chrome, Mozilla’s Firefox, and Microsoft’s, Internet Explorer.
Apple will let us know when they find the problem with iSO 4 updates on the old equipment. As we with Microsoft knows but no one wants to listen, it’s this: Old hardware can not be designed to run new software 100% issue free, in a lot of cases. This being one. Just update your phone and you’ll be fine. Again this is just a growing faze for Apple users who have always been told that what ever they buy from Apple doesn’t have problems. When will they learn that they are just the other side of the Microsoft world and have the same problems. Get over it.
